G857 magnetometer.    

ExploreGeo has two new G857 proton mags available for rental. The 857 is an update for the older workhorse G856 and has a larger memory capacity, faster dumping and GPS interface so can operate in "walkmag" mode and provide a track log with magnetic readings.  The Garmin GPS unit and all cables are included with one unit.

For long occupation, base station applications, a 5m cable with alligator clips suitable for a car battery is available.

Rental rate (ex-GST): With GPS and interface cables or with 5m extension cable - $550/week or part thereof or $1600/month or part thereof. Without GPS and interface cables - $500/week or part thereof or $1500/month or part thereof. Renter assumes any liability for damage or loss.

SM30 Magnetic Susceptibility Meter    

The SM30 is a small lightweight meter, ideal for field work. Two units are available, one comes with data cable and software to either dump a day's readings or remotely control from a lap top or tablet.  

Rental rate (ex-GST): $70/week or part thereof or $250/month or part thereof. Renter assumes any liability for damage or loss.
